Progress Report #1 for Bones
House Renovation Project

The new roof is completed. Architectural
shingles
were chosen to replace the old roof.

A view from the back of the house showing
the peaks in the roof.

Here the awning that was added with the brick
on the front of the house has been removed.

The first sign of life for The Bones House
since the restoration began.

The second floor balcony banisters have been
removed
to allow waterproofing to the first floor porch roof.
The banisters will be replicated and replaced.

Here we see the woodwork that
has been covered up
by the awning on the side porch. The porch was altered
by framing it in, adding screens and the awning.

The next planned change for the
house is to
remove the brick that was added in the
1960's and replace them with the style
of siding that was original to the house.
