1960 view of Bones House Bed and Breakfast in Rome Georgia

This picture was found in a collection of historical data filed at the Sara Hightower Library in Rome, Georgia.  It was dated: 1960.  It documents that the bricks on the front of the house  in present day were not original to the house.  Below is a present day picture that shows the bricks on the front of the house that were added after 1960.
These bricks have began separating from the house and allowing water damage to the interior.  It is our hopes to remove the bricks and return
the exterior to its original condition.

This is the ad that appeared in Rome News-Tribune
in 1960.  It was the first time the house went to auction.

A big THANK YOU goes to the staff of
Sara Hightower Library for all of your
help finding these documents.
